Hi 1221 Photography Fans & Followers! My name is Sherry. A few months ago I happen to come across a post of some amazing photography on Facebook - they were stunning photos of protests Zach captured, and ever since... I have followed his photography page/blog. Some of the most thought provoking & beautiful photos I have ever seen. He does AMAZING work!

While I’m just a fan of 1221 Photography, I also happen to be a pediatric nurse. The real & most important reason I’m reaching out to you all today is because I recently learned that Zach’s 4 year old daughter, Kinley, was hospitalized after experiencing neurological symptoms. My understanding is that something was found on Kinley’s brain scan but doctors are uncertain if it’s a tumor or lesion. My heart goes out to Zach, his wife Brittni, and Kinley while they navigate the unknown & wait for a definitive diagnosis & answers.

This is a financially difficult time for people and I can not imagine it being compounded with my child receiving a sudden medical diagnosis. Not only that, but Zach & Brittni live in Illinois while Kinley is receiving treatment at St Louis Children’s Hospital. They are incurring costs to travel, time off work to be bedside with Kinley, and obviously, medical bills will reach their mailbox soon.

Recently, Kinley was discharged from St Louis Children’s Hospital but unfortunately after a few short day’s has been readmitted.

I’m kindly asking the photography community & all photography fans to rally around this family and show them some financial support!! I think it would be great if we could allow Zach & Brittni to not feel financially burdened during this time & instead focus on Kinley.

I have never met Zach or Brittni but I can see that they are believers in the power of prayer. No doubt they appreciate you all keeping Kinley in your continued prayers during this time.
