Kingston’s BDay CureSMA trip

Kingston has SMA type II. SMA (spinal muscular atrophy) is a disease that robs people of physical strength by affecting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord, taking away the ability to walk, eat, or breathe. There is a wonderful organization called CureSMA. Every year they have a conference for families with SMA. This year it starts the day of Kingston’s 3rd birthday, June 14-17. This conference is an amazing learning experience for families like ours. They offer multiple workshops that we can attend to learn as much as we can while we are there. They also offer fun things for the kids like ice cream, pajama parties. This year the conference is at a hotel in Texas, although a lot of things are covered by the organization, we need to have enough money to get down there all the way from Michigan. Please help us attend this amazing opportunity to gain as much knowledge as we can. Kingston will not be having a 3rd birthday party because we will be attending the conference.
