Kingston Park Replacement of Memorial Trees

Someone has taken the opportunity to vandalise the memorial trees in Kingston playing field in Neilston, the community are extremely annoyed at this wilful destruction and want these replaced.
These were planted by the Neilston War Memorial Association to remember the 27 American sailors who died from the liberty ship SS Henry Bacon who sacrificed their lives to help deliver 19 Norwegian civilians to safety in Neilston on 23 Feb 1945.
