King Lionel Needs Surgery!

Hey there! My name is Mila and I work at the local cat cafe, Mauhaus. We meet a lot of cats, but none quite like Lionel. He's approximately ten years-old and was abandoned for some time. I fell immediately in love with his charm and adopted him soon after. He is one of the most extraordinary cats I've ever met.

Lionel is a healthy older cat, aside from a cauliflower ear. However, we recently discovered that he has a large crystal in his urinary tract. While it is common among cats, it is not something that will go away. It will require an invasive surgery to remove the crystal. It is a time sensitve condition and the sooner we proceed, the better his prognosis is.

He's had a tough past and is a strong boy, so I have no doubt he can get through this. However, we need your help. My partner and I are new at adulting and this has been an unforseen and upsetting situation for us. While we have some money saved, the surgery itself is roughly $1,500. We will also need to cover time off of work to care for him, as well as check ups after the surgery. The money donated will go directly toward vet bills from the surgery.

Lionel is our entire world and he has left such an impact on everyone he meets. We would so much appreciate your help in getting him well.
