We are a group of Nursing and Paramedic students from the College of West Anglia and we are raising money for the King’s Lynn Foodbank. We will be taking part and running a host of fundraising activities throughout the week, 30th November to 4th December at college. On 2nd December we will also be dressing up as Disney characters as part of our fundraising.
The King’s Lynn Foodbank is a great charity that supports those most in need within our local community. Now , more than ever, the Foodbank needs donations of food and money to help local people in crisis. The corona virus has resulted in lots of people living on a reduced income, either having been furloughed or lost their job. Between March and April 2020, 1322 people were given a 3 day food parcel, this is a 25% increase on the year before.
