Kinfolk RVA
Since 2011, Kinfolk has been transforming marginalized communities in the east end of Richmond. The vision? To take neighborhoods seen as poor, blighted, and desolate and transform them into vibrant communities. How? By teaching residents self-sufficiency through programs that encourage empowerment, employment, health, wellness, and community involvement.
Through grassroots efforts Kinfolk has developed over 32 partnerships and collaborations that address community needs in these disadvantaged neighborhoods. By addressing these economic and health disparities that adversely effect Black communities, Kinfolk has improved and transformed the quality of life for thousands of residents.
