Kinetic Element New Album 2018/2019

Donation protected

It has been three years and four months since Kinetic Element released Travelog, an album that finally, after a decade of effort, put this band on the prog rock map and landed us three festival shows (ROSfest and Terra Incognita in 2016, and Protoberfest in 2017).  The band has been through a convulsive personnel departure and an exhilarating replacement, as guitarist Todd Russell left us right after Progtoberfest, and about two months later, Peter Matuchniak of The Steppes, Bomber Goggles and other projects agreed to step in and give us a real shot in the arm on our new album.

Here is a link to one of our new pieces (another epic, of course) and if you have 16 minutes to listen we think that if  you are a symphonic prog fan you will find something to like here.  https://soundcloud.com/kinetic-element/all-open-eyes-peter-v05a-corrections

This project has taken over two years total to complete, and we're looking to put out both CD and LP versions of the new work, which we have entitled THE FACE OF LIFE. Another deeply philosophical work dealing with encouragement to be the best people we can be in light of the brevity of this bittersweet thing called life.

ALL the funds raised will go towards the finishing stage of production of these two milieus, and if we have leftover money from your generosity, that will go toward the production of yet another record already being planned and possibly road expenses or even cost of travel to Europe, the festivals of which continent we long to perform at.  Our production expenses will be much greater than they were on Travelog because of the vinyl side of this project and the rising costs of the raw materials.

We're going into this production right now in this October of 2018, and while we have some reserves to get it started, we can't make this a reality without you.  If you have been touched in your heart by our symphonic progressive rock, and would like to lend a hand in getting us out there again, we humbly request your help.  Our last album, Travelog, was made possible in this manner, and the funds earned from it have been nearly exhausted in band expenses.

We do this, in the last analysis, for you, who have heard something you like in our music, and our satisfaction comes from knowing that you, our fans, friends, listeners and fellow prog-heads, have had a great experience of the heart from pressing "play" when our CD or download is in your device, and now, if you are a vinylphile, you will be able to drop the needle on it!

Nothing is better than being able to say THANK YOU when the product is being sent out to you, and words come way short of expressing our gratitude to you for the financial assistance to make it happen.  There will, of course, be rewards for donating.  If everything goes well our product will be in hand in January 2019.

All five of us (Mike Visaggio - keyboards, Michael Murray - drums, Mark Tupko - bass, Saint John Coleman - vocals, and Peter Matuchniak - guitars) long for the day when we shall be able to perform this new album for the best music fans on earth.

Almost forgot about the rewards we're planning on.

PLEDGE $20-50 ... your very own CD copy of this stupendous endeavor.  And the satisfaction mentioned in the next section!

PLEDGE $50 or more ... signed CD of The Face of Life, your name on the donors section of the booklet/insert. The satisfaction of knowing you helped make this happen could make you somewhat light-headed.

PLEDGE $100 or more ... signed CD of The Face of Life, signed CD of Travelog, your name on the donors section. OR, a signed copy of the vinyl LP.  Others will admire you for your exquisite taste in music when you turn them on to the wonders of symphonic prog. Or make you listen to The Ramones.

PLEDGE $150 or more ... signed CD of The Face of Life, signed CD of Travelog, signed CD of Powered by Light,  OR a copy of the vinyl LP), one autographed print of The Face of Life artwork, your name on the donors section.  Just think how much you can antagonize your prog-hating friends with your shameless display of prog-headedness.

PLEDGE $250 or more ... All three of the above signed CDs, PLUS Mike's solo CD Starship Universe, PLUS one of our fabulous fashion statement T-shirts with TFOL artwork imprinted thereon, OR a Travelog T-Shirt, PLUS a copy of Progression Magazine #59 featuring little old us back in 2009.  Heck ... we'll throw in an extra copy of TFOL that you can present to that person you always wanted to impress with your ability to find incredible music. And an overdose of undying gratitude from us for really stepping up the plate and moving into the realm of fine arts philanthropy.

PLEDGE $500 or more ... A personal meeting with the band at a time and place we can mutually agree upon.  If possible. We can meet for dinner, or you can come to a practice, meet us at a festival date and be introduced onstage as a top tier donor, plus everything in the $250 tier.

PLEDGE $1000 or more .... Are you kidding me? We'll figure out something.
