Kindred Culture COVID-19 Fundraiser

Kindred Culture is a company that uses dance to give people a positive outlet to express themselves, build a sense of community, and support charitable organizations.

On March 16, 2020 we closed our studio doors due to COVID-19. Since closing, keeping our studio alive has been quite a challenge.

Despite the challenge we continued to give back to our community by hosting FREE Instagram dance classes and FREE trivia nights as a way to connect with our community. 

We also ran 2 fundraisers to help with social causes effecting our world. We raised over $1,400 for a COVID-19 initiative that gave 1,000 masks to organizations in need and raised over $6,000 for the Black Community and the ACLU of Minnesota Foundation. On top of that we donated $325 to local dance studios and companies. 

We are very fortunate to re-open our studio and we are looking for your support to keep our doors open.

Our biggest expenses at the moment is the rent and utilities of our facility. By donating to our fundraiser you are helping keep the studio open and giving us time to pivot and adjust our programs to become sustainable for the long run.
