Kindness for Christine

Our Beloved Christine was involved in an automobile accident Saturday August 4th a little before noon. The accident occurred as she was turning from Longwood Trace Dr onto Telge Rd in Cypress/Tomball TX. From multiple eyewitness's accounts, there were two vehicles racing down Telge and one of them struck "Greenie," Christine's 2009 Toyota Highlander, on the driver's side. Christine was life-flighted to Memorial Herman Medical Center and immediately taken into surgery upon arrival. Since then she has had 3 more surgeries and is still in very critical condition. She suffered a broken neck, shattered leg, severe internal injuries and head trauma causing numerous strokes. Per her husband's wishes I'm not at liberty to divulge a more in depth account of her injuries, but I can say it is very serious and  will have a lifelong impact should she survive. We are still in the hour to hour stage at this point, but Chris is a FIGHTER! She is still holding on and showing positive signs albeit baby steps.

She and her husband, David, are both retired and on Medicare. They have been residents of Tomball Tx for more than 30 years and are small group leaders at their church, Northside Christian Church. Their daughter Lara lives at home with their dog Nola. Their son, Brian, lives in Cypress and has a wife and two young children who miss their "Nonna" dearly. 

Her unwavering faith in the LORD and her positivity for life has touched EVERYONE she's ever met! Her favorite word is KIND. We have had numerous people ask how they can help.  At this time we expect medical bills in excess of 100's of thousands of dollars as more surgeries are on the horizon. Also, gas money from Tomball to the Medical Center, Parking which is $5/hour or $16/ day if valet is used, food for her family would also be helpful. Any extra money collected will be donated by her husband to causes that Christine is passionate about.  Please spread the word and positivity that Chris spreads with the world.
