Kindly support Taylah & Izannah
Donation protected
In the early hours of Wednesday 21st March 2018 our dearest baby sister Taylah (21 years) and her 14 month old daughter Izannah was in a horrific car accident just 17 kilometres from their home in Kununurra, WA. Taylah and baby Izannah both sustained serious injuries in the accident. Taylah has suffered head and spinal trauma; whilst Izannah suffered a broken femur and a fractured skull. Both were airlifted to royal Darwin hospital and placed in the Intensive Care Unit. However, because of the seriousness of Taylah’s spinal injuries’, she was then sent to Perth on the Royal Flying Doctor Service which separated her from her daughter.
Taylah is currently in a critical but stable condition at the Royal Perth hospital. At this stage, it is unsure whether Taylah will walk again. Taylah’s mother, Susan and sisters Selina, Bronwyn, Jeannette, Sacha and Riani are kindly seeking financial support to assist in reuniting Taylah with her baby Izannah. It is important for Izannah to be with her mother in order to encourage Taylah with her healing journey.
Funds donated will go towards getting Izannah and her Grandmother to Perth and assisting with relocating and supporting Taylah and her child during the long rehabilitation journey ahead. It is expected that Taylah and her family will have to reside in Perth for a lengthy period of time which could take up to 8-12 months.
We thank you and really appreciate the love and support expressed by our family and friends during this difficult time. If a donation is not possible, please say a prayer for our baby sister and her daughter.
