Help With Kidney Pancreas Transplant
Donation protected
I’m a 27 year older type 1 diabetic with stage 5 kidney disease. Luckily I haven’t been put on dialysis. Even more luckily that I’ve been approved to test for a pancreas, kidney transplant (SPK). This is all through the University of Maryland. There are a lot of appointments in Baltimore I need to go to, sometimes multiple times a week. So I miss out on a lot of hours at work. My money goes to other priorities such as my 3 kids, soon to be 4 in February. I have a few more test before I’m placed on the transplant list. And as soon as I am, the projected waiting time for the type of transplant I would be receiving is 3 months or less. After the surgery I would be in the hospital recovering for up to 2 weeks and another month and a half at home afterwards. Just hoping to raise money to help out with the bills and new baby. Anyone who knows me would tell you I don’t like asking for help. But at this point I’m just worried about my family being taken care of since I’ll be in kind of a bind. Any bit helps. If you can’t I understand. Just share if anything. Thank you and stay blessed.
