Kim's Healing and Recovery Fund

Our dear friend Kim Michalic was violently assaulted and mugged while walking home from Broad Ripple on Saturday night (5/27/17). She was released from the hospital with injuries to her face, damage to several teeth that will require dental restoration, and bruising of her gums which has made eating solid food extremely painful for her. 

Kim will most urgently require funds to assist in medical bills, as she currently does not have health insurance. We will update this campaign when we have more information regarding her medical needs. Her wallet, purse, phone, and a full day's earnings in cash tips were stolen. Any donated funds will assist in medical care/bills, lost wages, and in any way that Kim needs to help her recover. Being a single mom of a young child, this is a devastating blow financially, physically, and emotionally. 

Please take a moment to share, and if you are able to donate any funds to help Kim recover and get back on her feet it is immensley appreciated- ANY amount helps! Kim is a dear friend to so many- and our hearts hurt for her. She is determined to move forward and has such an optimistic outlook in the face of a very challenging situation. Let's give her the helping hand she needs to move forward!
