Kimo Zoller medical fund

For those of us that know Kimo, you know he doesn't go down easy.  (Even after being hit by a truck) he's still in the fight. In the beginning of June 2017, Kimo had gone to aid of a friend, and was instead, hit by a truck. Breaking his tibia and his fibula. He was then attacked by the driver with a baseball bat, but still managed to take the bat away from the driver of the truck. 


Kimo has already undergone four different surgeries to repair the damage, taking muscle and skin from other parts of his body to rebuild his leg and he is now working on recovering from his injuries. It will be a minimum of three months before he is going to be able to bear any weight on his leg and start his rehabilitation.




Unfortunately, like the rest of us, he still has bills to pay and the upcoming medical expenses will start piling up. Kimo has health insurance but he still has to cover what is left out of pocket, and if any of you know, hospital stay is not cheap even with it. Our brother would never ask for help like this, but we will for him.
Kimo, we all love you, and we know you are a great fighter who will get through all this. Everyone is praying for you, and a speedy recovery. This is just a way for all the friends, and family to help you out, since we all can't just pack up and come see you in person.

First of all I feel ashamed and most of all hurt that this got done to me. I rushed for someones aid...got ran over for no reason. Then when my leg was hanging by my calf only then did the guy jump out of his truck and hit me with a bat. Above all this...the person that i tried to help dropped me off at the hospital in my car and till this day ive not seen the person...the one that said they will be there for me no matter what. All my life i help people and now the tables have turned. My first thought was my job and i just want to give a shout out to my boss Pupe Santos for taking on my responsibilities at work and still has to perform his own duties! I cannot thankyou enough in everything that you are doing! I also want to thank each and everyone of you for sending me get well wishes. These mean so much. To all the family and friends that stayed in this Oahu traffic and drove from all over the island to come see me and lift my spirits i love and appreciate you all so much! This is a beginning of a long road towards recovery for me if not a lifetime. Recovery in physically and mentally. I love to help others and give but my friends it hurts me to say this but i need help. Im putting away my pride and asking from the bottom of my heart. These bills come on Monday and hearing my medical is not covering it because im not in their hospital scares me. I am currently on Quest which will exhaust in a few days. I continue to pray each day to God to keep my head up. This is the first time i am calling out for help and to tell you the truth I am sooooo ashamed. In a few short years ive seen many of my friends that i hold dear to my heart that did not ask for help and did not do what im doing now and i wish they did. NOW is not the time for me to give up and cry. I cant and i wont. My family and friends any amount you can give is a big help for me.
