Our IVF Journey!
I am 28 years old back in 1996 I had a brain tumour a Craniopharyngioma which when removed left me with an illness called Panhypopituitarism. This has left my pituitary gland not working correctly meaning my fertility hormones aren’t doing the job they should be. Myself and my husband have been having assisted ovulation treatment for the past 12 months with no success. When all I have ever wanted was to be a Mother it has been a very difficult journey this far. We are hoping 2020 could be finally our year. I have appealed to members of the Irish government to see how long it would take for funding allocated for IVF to be implemented and was given a generic answer from the Health Minister Simon Harris. Until such time as any form of assisted human reproduction many couples will find the need to fundraise for themselves.
please give what ever you can to help my journey to become a Mam. Something I want so much!
