Kimberly's Timing Belt Fund

Hello.

My friends. It comes with tremendous personal embarrasment and some emotional pain that I come to you with this type of request. As many of you know I am clinging to a thread financially as I move through getting my Masters in Counseling Psychology degree right now.

Many of you know I am Ubering in San Francisco and doing some work in mental-health working with others and trying to make ends-meet. Many of you know that asking for help is one of the most difficult things for me to do. Many of you will be surprised that I am asking this way instead of coming to you personally. 

Last Friday while heading to do work with the Two-Spirit group I co-facilitate in Sacramento, the timing belt on my '07 Passat broke. I have an estimate from a reputible shop in Sacramento for around $4900. 

I am not in a financial position to cover this bill right now. I am doing my best to get some large ducks in a row so that I am in a better position financially in the future. Right now I am living each day behind the 8-ball.

I have an immediate need for $1500 to start the repairs and get the machine shop paid for doing the valve head work. The rest of the repairs are parts and labor to basically re-build the front of the engine's ancillary components. 

I will be offering rewards to those who contribute in the form of prints that are currently in my possesion. That is the only physical asset I currently own that is liquid and of some value to a few of you. 

I can also offer wellness coaching which is part of my training and limited experience. I cannot offer therapy as I am not licensed anywhere.

I can only offer my deepest gratitude and humility to those who have helped me in so many other ways in the past. If you know me you also know how difficult this is to even write.
