This summer the Sunset Youth Orchestra will play at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, the home of the LA Philharmonic. They are one of only four youth orchestras selected to play at the Los Angeles Sounds of Summer Festival.
This incredible opportunity presents our young musicians with an experience for musical growth while creating lasting memories. We would like to invite all of our students to participate, regardless of their ability to pay the travel fees. Part of fees include renting musical instruments and hiring extra musicians.
The Sunset Youth Orchestra recruits young musicians from all over the Bay Area regardless of their ability to pay the fees. We always find a way to include any talented and enthusiastic musician. Through generous donations and grants we have managed to support our students. We now have a remarkable opportunity to bring our orchestra to Los Angeles and need your help to get us all there.
