Kim & Ian Bashaw House Fire Fund

Today(June 21), in the early morning my mom Kim, her fiancé Ian, their 3 dogs, and cat woke up to their house on fire due to the crazy storm in the town of Bashaw, AB.  The powerful winds ended up causing a tree to fall on the powerlines near their home creating their electrical box in the basement to short curcit which then started the fire.




Every one is safe,  but due to unforeseen circumstances with Ian being laid off in the winter they no longer had home insurance when the fire happened which has now left them starting from scratch paying for a house that is no longer habitable, trying to figure out their next move.








Since the house can no longer be lived in they are going to be staying in a small camping trailer with their pets in a friends backyard until they are finacially stable enough to have the house dealt with.
