Ben Kilmer, Children Education Fund

On May 16, 2018, Ben Kilmer disappeared suddenly from Duncan, British Columbia, triggering a massive search effort. Tragically, his body was located on October 17, 2018, a devastating outcome for his family, friends, loving wife, and two small children.
Ben was a determined provider for his family, caring for their needs above all else. He was particularly dedicated toward building a bright future for his two children by ensuring regular contributions toward their education. We can think of no better way to honour Ben's memory now than through an education fund established for his children. This fund will continue Ben's dream of giving his son and daughter a strong head start on their own hopes and dreams.
We know that Ben's children will inherit the best of their father's qualities, even without his physical presence and guidance. This fund is a reminder that Ben will always be with them to cheer on their accomplishments from heaven. It is also a tribute to the community that rallied behind the Kilmer family for five arduous months, who will continue to rally behind them as they courageously move forward now.
Though this site prompts us to enter a dollar figure for the campaign, we have no specific goal in mind. Rather, this fund has been created as a means of graciously accepting contributions for the children's futures. We are beyond touched by any amount that you may choose to donate in Ben's memory.
