KILLERS: Short Film

Hello all,

My name is Irena and I am a Film & Media major at UTSA. I am entering my final semester and plan on shooting this film to be completed before I graduate. I am trying my hardest to gather the funds on my own, but I am mad broke and your support would mean the world to me.

STORY

Killers is about two young women, Cinnamon and Santana, who are short on money and become killers-for-hire. However, when they’re on their first job they are not prepared for the reality of killing somebody or what to do when your target just won't die. They're not the sharpest knives in the drawer, but they sure are determined... who cares if they couldn’t find a babysitter?

Why?

Spotlight original stories! The classics are fun, but instead of remaking them, let's be inspired by them! Killers is a fresh new story from a fresh new artist who's ready to tell more.

Celebrate Texas! Texas is growing and the film industry in Texas will grow as well. Killers shows off many locations in and around San Antonio, a quickly growing city.

Women! Killers is a story written about women by women. While it is fiction, we still hope to support the women on the cast and crew and inspire others to share their own stories.

Background

Inspired by thriller comedies such as Bodies, Bodies, Bodies and Scream Queens, as well as, comedies like Bottoms, Killers uses comedy and suspense to keep you on your toes.

Writer and Director

I am still in the process of gathering my crew, but I am the writer and director! If you're interested in seeing some of my past work, check out Regina Must Die, a thriller-comedy film I co-directed about a woman who must find her soulmate before midnight on her 21st birthday.
