Kill Bill, the Tumor

In March of this year my life turned upside down when I found out I had a non-cancerous brain tumor, called an acoustic neuroma. It’s been a journey of trials, acceptance, and reflection.

I’ve learned a lot about myself during this time. One of those things is that it is tough for me to ask for help. I don’t like to feel as though I’m a burden to anyone. I also realize that God is giving me yet another opportunity to be an example to my kids. I’ve believe I’ve been successful in teaching my kids independence. In fact, I think I might have pushed that too much. There is a time that you have to ask for help. I am at that time.

With the surgery to remove the tumor I am incurring medical bills and loss of wages. I can’t get enough prayers, please say one for the surgeons and for my children. Any help is greatly appreciated.
