Tittle: Climb for Change: Supporting Schoolchildren with a Dining Hall and Kitchen

Climb with purpose! I joined the Kyosei Foundation for Volunteering Experience and Travel Adventure. I’m Martin, I’m from France and we’re setting out on an extraordinary adventure this December 2024 to climb Mount Kilimanjaro!

Join us as we take the stunning Lemosho route to raise €5,895; (1€ for every meter of this iconic mountain. There’s a higher chance of rain compared to the dry season) to fund the construction of a dining hall and school kitchen at the Kyosei Foundation in Arusha.

Currently, the children at Kyosei Pre and Primary School eat in unsuitable conditions, often on the floor or outside their classrooms. This affects their ability to concentrate and leads to nutritional deficiencies, particularly for those from impoverished backgrounds.

By building a proper dining facility, we can provide the nourishment these students desperately need to focus on their education. Together, let’s climb for change and help create a better future for these incredible children!

The funds will go directly towards building a dining hall and school kitchen at the Kyosei Foundation in Arusha. Currently, students at Kyosei Pre and Primary School eat in unsuitable conditions, often on the classroom floor. This not only impacts their comfort but also their ability to learn.
