Kilimanjaro Climb 2019

Help me get to Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2019. The funds raised here will assist me in getting to Tanzania to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

As you may or may not be aware, I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in February 2019 to support the Monash Childrens Hospital. To date, I have raised $4,000 which goes directly to Monash Childrens Hospital who provides life saving support to our littlest and most vulnerable loved ones.
The Kilimanjaro Climb was spear headed by my long time friend Floyd, who's son Austin suffered near fatal complications following his birth in June 2017. The staff at Monash Childrens Hospital saved Austin and does this for many new babies every year. I was privileged to be asked to join in fundraising effort and also be given the opportunity to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Floyd and Austin's story can be found here:

I now have another reason and motivation to make this life changing journey in February to climb. My dear mother, who has been there for me like no other and has never wavered in her support for me through the years, has been very recently diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She is about to embark on the fight of her life, so me climbing a mountain seems so insignificant in comparison, however it brings her joy to see me excited to make the journey.
Finally, to my mum,
You gave me this truly wonderful life and held my hand whilst I navigated my way through it and have always been there for me. You are an inspiration. Now I will be there to hold your hand and help you through everything that will be thrown at you. Together, we'll conquer anything!
