FIRE JUST AFTER CHRISTMAS
HARD WORKING SINGLE MOM-3 BOYS
My little sister, Nastasia (also known as Kiki) went to the store for dinner the other night and received a horrible call. The two boys at the house called to tell her the house had caught fire. The fireplace appears to be the culprit. The boys are fine, they all are fine but they have suffered a devastating loss of most of their lives.
She is a hard working single mom that works nights as a nurse and cleans houses during the days. She has always made ends meet but is now faced with having to replace almost all of their belongings (food, beds, furniture, maybe even some of the christmas presents that were lost). She just wants to get back on her feet and back on her way. Her landlord (yes she was renting) has helped her to find a new place but her rent payment was just made and as the funds don't flow freely for a single mom. She is struggling to find the means to re-establish her life.
Kiki is a very determined and proud woman and doesn't need much and could use your help to get back where she was (for that is all she is asking for). She has already been able to salvage some clothes using special soaps to get the smoke smell out. The products were not cheap and I don't forsee any of this being that "cheap". She is taking any furniture donations also but still needs the funds to replace food, toiletries, etc.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated in this time of need. She won't be able to get into the new house for a week or so as she will be cleaning it up. Meanwhile she is having to take time off of work to take care of all of this. Kiki and the boys are staying at my house and I am helping as I can but as a single mom myself my resources are also limited.
