Tribute To Kiev Watterson
It is with great sadness that we share that our valued General Manager and good friend, Kiev Watterson, died of a brain aneurysm on Tuesday, November 14th. During her tenure of 7 years, Kiev came to work every day at Ephrata Planet Fitness with a smile on her face and boundless energy. Her hard work and ethics filtered down to all the Team Members.
Kiev Watterson was a person who positively touched so many people and their lives, both at her Ephrata Planet Fitness Club and beyond. She took great pride in her Planet Fitness and she will be greatly missed.
The attached pictures only begin to show her enthusiasm for life, her hard work ethics to always have her Planet Fitness Club looking welcoming, clean and friendly. She loved her job and it showed in all she did for our company. She always made sure all the fitness equipment was in good working order and was always eager to do whatever it took to make the fitness club the best.
Kiev personified a love for people and taking good care of them. Everyone she met became her friend very quickly. Her Motherly instincts were very strong and supportive. Her Grandmotherly life was also filled with laughter, many hugs and lots of LOVE. She was known by friends from her Warwick High School days, as her former Principal stopped in yesterday to let us know how special Kiev was as a student there.
She didn’t mind getting her hands dirty and reminded us a lot of our Parents. Like Kiev, they were hard workers throughout their entire lives. Kiev had spunk and grit. We miss her so much already and will continue to honor her beautiful memories with us in various ways over the coming days, months and years.
Please share with us any of your pictures and stories about Kiev so that we can continue to pull them together and present them to her family. Precious memories, how they linger…….
We offer our greatest sympathy to all who are impacted by this tragedy and send our condolences to Kiev’s two daughters, her five beautiful grandchildren: two girls and three boys, her Mother and Father and all surviving family members and friends.
Here's how you can help:
1. Donate: Your financial support will make a significant impact on Kiev’s family.
2. Spread the word: Please share this campaign with your network. The more people who know about it, the better the chances of reaching our goal.
3. Send prayers and positive vibes to Kiev’s family: Even if you are unable to donate for any reason, your thoughts and prayers mean the world to us.
We understand that times are challenging for many, but any form of assistance is greatly appreciated. Your generosity will not only touch the hearts of Kiev’s family but will also make a significant difference in their lives.
Thank you for your compassion and support during this extremely challenging time.
Sincerely,
Art Thomas, Dwight Thomas, Don Thomas and Nick Picca
