Un groupe d’amis et moi meme avons decide de faire une action caritative spécialement pour les enfants de notre pays le Benin en cette période de fetes. Nous avons choisi l’hôpital Saint Jean de Dieu de Tanguieta que certains d’entre nous on eu la chance de visiter cet été et qui effectue un excellent travail pour un énorme nombre de patients. Nous avons decide de créer cette petite collecte de fonds afin d’acheter des produits essentiels qui nous seront detailles par le Père Florent (responsable principal de l’hôpital avec qui nous sommes en contact) afin d’améliorer le niveau de Santé des enfants de l’hôpital. Nous vous tiendrons informes de la suite et evolution du projet en images pour vous montrer ce que vous aurez apporte a ses enfants qui méritent le meme niveau de vie que nous sinon qu’au minimum le meme droit a la Santé et mieux encore!
S’il vous plait Il n y a vraiment pas de montant supérieur a l’autre, le moindre geste est le bienvenu! Si on dépasse le montant encore mieux ! Merci infiniment!

I recently went to Tanguieta a city in the North of my country Benin and I visited an hospital called St Jean de Dieu Hospital founded by the Brothers of the Hospital Order of Saint Jean de Dieu from the Lombardo-Veneta Province of Milan (Italy).
I was amazed by the work they do over there. People from all over the places and even border countries walk hundreds of miles just to benefit from the great care at Saint Jean de Dieu hospital.They are doing their best to give the best experience to all the patients and the hospital is pretty well taken care of.
Even their website is on fleek check it out(it's in Italian but oh well you'll get it) :

My friends and I always wanted to do a caritative action especially for kids of my country and we couldn’t think of a better timing than the Christmas holidays!
With the money raised we will buy medicines and food that the kids at the hospital are in need of (We met Father Florent which is mostly in charge of the Hospital and just amazing and he is the one who will help us determine the exact products needed) and it will be brought to the kids at the hospital.
I know we are all dealing with our own situations but I believe if we do have, we can always give something even what you think is the least can be the most to help these kids so please donate, it doesn't matter the amount.
For first timers, we believed money fundraising is what makes the most sense especially in such a short period of time (2/3 weeks to Christmas) but next time we will take further actions that includes actual physical help such as blood donation for example which we did some of us for the first time this summer and realized how simple and amazing of an action it was (we saved more than 20 lives !!!!)
By the way that would be a huge deal for them as they are in serious daily need of blood to save tons of lives. So if you have the chance and would like to visit the north of our country make sure to stop by Saint Jean de Dieu Tanguieta Hospital and even better donate your blood! You alone can save more than one person ,isn’t that amazing?
We would like to reach our goal by December 31St to give us time to buy the medicines and food required for the kids so please help us make it happen !
