Hi ihr wunderschönen Seelen!

mein Name ist Pelin und ich befinde mich aktuell für einen längeren Zeitraum in Cape Town, Südafrika! Neben dem Reisen, bin ich hier mit Freiwilligenarbeit an einer Grundschule beschäftigt und bin so unendlich dankbar für jede Sekunde! Dieses Land hat mich jahrelang, wie ein Magnet angezogen und ich habe mir vor meiner Reise hierher das Ziel gesetzt, eine Veränderung zu schaffen und alles in meiner Macht stehende zu tun, um an dieses Ziel zu kommen!

Also durfte ich letzte Woche zum ersten Mal das Township Philippi besuchen. Ich habe zwar viel Armut und Leid, viel Trauma und Chancenungleichheit gesehen, aber im selben Zuge mehr Hoffnung, Dankbarkeit und unendlich viel Liebe! Zusammen mit der Organisation KIDS POT sammeln wir Spendengelder, die den Kindern im Township Philippi zugutekommen. Mit diesen Spendengeldern gehen wir wöchentlich für die Kinder im Township einkaufen, bereiten frisches Essen zu und verteilen es anschließend an alle Kinder! Dieses Land hat mir so viel gegeben, mich auf so vielen Ebenen bereichert, so vieles gelehrt, mich oft aus meiner Komfortzone gezwungen, mich mir selbst und vor allem meiner Berufung näher gebracht: gut sein, ohne etwas zurückzuverlangen. Daher möchte ich diesem magischen Land und vor allem den ärmeren Gebieten etwas zurückgeben, auch wenn ich dem nicht gerecht werden kann, was es mir gegeben hat.

Alleine gut sein ist schön genug, aber wie toll wäre es, wenn wir alle gut sein könnten einfach, weil wir gut sein möchten?

Ich bedanke mich jetzt schon einmal im voraus für jede noch so „kleine“ Spende und schicke all meine Liebe an jeden einzelnen Menschen, der das hier gerade liest.

hi beautiful souls!

my name is pelin and i am currently in cape town, south africa for three months! besides traveling, i am busy volunteering at an elementary school here and i am beyond grateful for every second! this country has attracted me like a magnet for years and before coming here, i set myself the goal before to make a change and do everything in my power to reach that goal!

so last week i was able to visit the philippi township for the first time. i saw a lot of poverty and pain; a lot of trauma and inequality, but at the same time i saw more hope, gratitude and endless love! together with the organization KIDS POT, we collect donations that benefit the children in the township of philippi. with these donations, we run errands for the children in the township every week, prepare fresh food and then distribute it to all the children living in the townahip! this country has given me so much, enriched me on so many levels, taught me so much, forced me out of my comfort zone, brought me closer to myself and above all to my calling: to be good without asking for anything in return. that's why i want to give something back to this magical country and especially to the poorer areas, even if i can't do justice to what it has given me.

Being good alone is nice, but how great would it be if we could all be good simply because we want to be good? i would like to thank each and everyone in advance for every donation, no matter how "small", and send all my love to every single person who is reading this.— Pelin <3

benim adım Pelin ve şu anda uzun bir süreliğine Güney Afrika'nın Cape Town şehrindeyim! seyahat etmenin yanı sıra burada bir ilkokulda gönüllü olarak çalışmakla meşgulüm ve her saniyesi için çok minnettarım! bu ülke yıllardır beni bir mıknatıs gibi kendine çekiyordu ve buraya gelmeden önce kendime bir değişiklik yapma ve bu hedefe ulaşmak için elimden gelen her şeyi yapma hedefi koydum!

geçen hafta ilk kez Philippi townshipini ziyaret edebildim. çok fazla yoksulluk ve acı gördüm; çok fazla travma ve fırsat eşitsizliği, ama aynı zamanda daha fazla umut, minnettarlık ve sonsuz sevgi ile karşılaştım! KIDS POT organizasyonuyla birlikte, philippi townshipdeki çocuklar yararına bağış topluyoruz. bu bağışlarla, her hafta kasabadaki çocuklar için alışverişe gidip, taze yiyecekler hazırlayıp ve sonradan tüm çocuklara dağıtacağız! bu ülke bana çok şey verdi, beni pek çok açıdan zenginleştirdi, bana çok şey öğretti, beni konfor alanımdan çıkmaya zorladı, beni kendime ve her şeyden önce çağrıma yaklaştırdı: karşılığında hiçbir şey istemeden iyi olmak. işte bu yüzden, bana verdiklerinin hakkını veremesem bile, bu eşsiz ülkeye ve özellikle de yoksul bölgelere bir şeyler vermek yada en azından çaba sarf etmek istiyorum.

İyi olmak tek başına yeterince güzel zaten, ama hepimiz sadece iyi olmak istediğimiz için iyi olabilseydik ne kadar daha da harika olurdu?
