Join us in creating leadership opportunities for our youth.
Kids-in-Action is a fun-filled, 2-day workshop for kids. The lessons and activities are designed to help build self-esteem and provide children with tools to overcome emotional obstacles. This program teaches children how to take accountability for their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and reactions.
This engaging program will support children to be proactive when responding to difficult situations. The students will learn strategies to identify their emotions, self-regulate, and effectively communicate their thoughts and feelings. The children will leave feeling empowered and inspired to create the results they desire.
We believe that ALL children deserve the opportunity to experience this gift of education and empowerment. In order to create opportunities for children whose families do not have the means to provide, we are raising money to support 15 children so that they may attend the workshop. The cost is $345 per child and our goal is to fund admission for 15 kids. Our total goal is $5,175.
The proceeds will cover the costs for renting the space, purchasing the supplies for the arts and crafts activities, and providing food and drinks.
