When kids band together, their small actions can make a BIG difference. This June, let’s make a difference by banding together to give back to the Montclair Ambulance Unit! Did you know it costs $350,000 to run and staff a single ambulance 24/7 for one year? The Montclair Ambulance Unit is a non-profit charity organization that relies heavily on donations to provide essential emergency care to Montclair, as well as neighboring towns. In the past year, Montclair Ambulance has been vital in providing treatment, patient advocacy, and life-saving oxygen to local Covid-19 patients. (They tripled their oxygen use during the pandemic!) Let’s give back to an organization that gives so much to our community! No matter how small or big, each donation makes a difference. Your child can submit his or her hard-earned donation through our GoFundMe, or deliver it in person at our Touch-An-Ambulance event. (Saturday, June 19, from 10am-12pm in The General Store at Cornerstone parking lot in Upper Montclair.) Here's just a few examples of how donations are used: $150: refills a dozen oxygen tanks $325: buys a 2-pack of EpiPens to treat life-threatening allergic reactions    $1500: supplies each ambulance and response vehicle with a defibrillator ----- Donations are of course welcome from adults, as well!
