Want to join us in making a difference? UM Dearborn Lions Club is raising money for Kids Coalition Against Hunger, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause!
With your help we are hoping to raise enough money to package at least 10,000 meals for children all over the world. Each 390 gram food packet costs 0.28 cents to package, and will provide enough nutrition for six adults or twelve kids. One third of the meals that are packaged go to the local communities where they are assembled. The next third goes to over 23 different third world countries that KAHC supports on an ongoing base. The final third is stored in a warehouse, for disaster relief.
