My name is Danielle. I am the wife to an amazing man and father, Darin Tassin. We have SIX children ages 11 months all the way to age 14 yrs old.As you know Darin is very sick. Diaysis makes him very sick and he is unable to work. When we had our kids he was heathy and able to provide for his family. Now my days are consumed with getting him to and from diaysis. Bringing our kids to therapy, IEP meetings, dentist, eye appointments, regular check ups and sick visits. It's very hard to support this family with a sick daddy with the holidays coming up. I have been very blessed with help from family. Things are becoming tight with everyone. The medicine Darin will need to be on is not 100% covered and is very expensive. Than transplant team has suggested we get donations of any kind to help us thought this hard time. It's a very hard thing to admit when you are in a position of needing help but if you can help with some of the medical expenses and trying not to let our kids feel this financial burden as we continue on this road to finding a kidney. Anything anyone can do will help no matter how small will truly be a gift from God. And don't forget to keep sharing our story so we can find that kidney !
