Kidney Transplant: Matthew Opara
Donation protected
My Dear Friends,
Here is Fr. John D. S. Nwagbaraocha compelled in tears, solicit your help. My nephew, Matthew just turned 20 years old last week, who should have been in his 2nd year Philosophy this semester in Seminary in south-east Nigeria, unexpectedly became very sick in June this year. The course of his treatment had disastrous affects on his organs that resulted in total kidney failure and will require a kidney transplant. My sister, Gertrude, has been tested and is a match, and is willing to donate a kidney to save the life of her son. Matthew is currently undergoing dialysis 3x week in Nigeria, but for how long and to what effect? The sooner he gets transplanted the better!
If we succeed financially in the next month, the transplant will take place at Max Super Specialty Hospital in New Delhi, India. Matthew and Gertrude will fly from Nigeria to India and will be there for 6 weeks unless there are complications.
The breakdown of costs include all transplant-related investigations for both donor and recipient, including doctors' consultation (Nephrologist & Transplant surgeon) before and after transplant, dialysis (up to 12 sessions), cost of kidney transplant surgery, cost of medications used during transplant, cost of removal DJ stent (after transplant), staying in the hospital, lab and radiology services, anti-rejection injections, pre-transplant work up for donor and recipient. Total cost: $25,000.00 USD.
HOW CAN YOU HELP ?
Please if you can support me on my GOFUNDME for Matthew and Gertrude by giving what you can then sharing the information with your network. No amount is too small, all donations are tax deductible.
Again, no amount for this noble gesture is too small, to save the life of this young man aspiring to serve the Lord in a special way as a priest. May our Good and Loving God, who is never-out-done in generosity bless and reward you a hundredfold. Amen. The family of John D. S. Nwagbaraocha, thank you in advance for your support. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email me.
