Our prayers have been answered: Travis has found a living donor and a kidney transplant has been scheduled for November 7. We now we need financial help.
With the kidney transplant date only a short five weeks away, we need your help in raising funds to cover the costs of the the medical co-pays for Travis' recent emergency hospitalization, the upcoming transplant, and for the loss of income during the recovery of both donor and recipient.

Travis’ living donor is truly an exception, not the norm. After looking for a matching donor for close to a year, Travis’ ex-wife LeeAnne decided to step forward and donate her kidney. Unfortunately this comes at a high cost. While the insurance covers much of the significant cost of the transplant operation for Travis and his donor LeeAnne, both still face all the expenses of co-pays, costly prescriptions medicine not covered, and loss of income – all in all an estimated $ 50,000 for both kidney donor and recipient. We need your help. Your support can help ease Travis’ and his family’s financial strain.
Travis is a retired publisher and now a widely sought after doghost. He won’t be able to board dogs during his recovery due to his lowered immune system. He is also a devoted father to his son Lucas a freshman at Diablo Valley College. Travis’ donor LeeAnne is mother to 2 young boys and currently the sole breadwinner of her new family.
