My name is Rosalynn McGinnis, I am 35 years old and have nine (9) children. I was born in Springfield, Missouri was raised there until shortly after my 10th birthday when a single person, that I soon discovered was a monster, moved into my neighborhood and changed not only my life but my family’s life forever. I later learned, after I was kidnapped, he was not only a pedophilic monster but a sadist.
Before this, I was a child, an honor roll student and had been taking private Suzuki violin lessons since I was three (3) years old. I loved animals and wanted to be a vet when I grew up.
Henri Piette was a child predator who befriended my mother, began molesting me and then married my mother to continue abusing me and eventually finalizing his plan and kidnapped me. He is often referred to as my stepfather.
However, Henri Piette was NEVER a stepfather.
This is my story and thank God I get to decide how it’s going to end. Not everyone gets that privilege.
I’m no longer afraid to tell it because finely the monster who took my childhood away is put behind bars for good after a long 22 years of a living hell.
I would like to finish school go on to college and take criminal law to become a Private Investigator and help find missing children like I once was. Yes, I have dreams, but my children come first and always will.
I was given the opportunity to purchase a fixer-upper house to make a home for my family. As you could imagine, the responsibility and costs of raising all of my children and fixing up previously abandoned house is extensive.
