Kid Again Audio Drama

I'm Stephen A. Schrum, college professor, playwright/screenwriter, and podcaster. My latest project is entitled, "Kid Again," an audio drama about Michael who suddenly discovers himself back in his 9th grade Catholic school classroom. But  the last thing he remembers was being 39 and packing for a move with his pregnant wife. Is he dreaming? Did he time travel? What fun can he have the second time around, if that is what's happening! But he has to be careful and not reveal too much about what he learned as an adult. Also, as he goes, he keeps a journal (that he found while packing, and did not ever remember keeping), reflecting on his experiences. In this way we illuminate events in our current world through the filter of 1977, and 2002 (as an adult).

Season One topics include bullying, immigration, and abortion, among others.

Funds will be used to pay voice actors and an audio engineer. Of course, during the pandemic we will do everything online and virtual.

Hopefully the audio drama will develop an audience and we will go on to Season Two and examine other hot button issues of our day.
