Kick Katie's Ovarian Cancer

Katie has been my best friend for 30 years. She is a community college professor, wife, & mother of two toddlers. She recently found out that she has ovarian cancer.  Even with health insurance, the costs for surgery, hospitalization, treatments, etc and costs for missed days of work/expenses for Katie & Matt will be a lot for a family with two small children to handle financially, not to mention emotionally/mentally.  Let's try to ease the Irby Family's burden right now by helping out with financial support so they have one less thing to worry about.

UPDATE: Katie had a successful surgery (double oophorectomy/hysterectomy) a few months ago! All the bad stuff is gone! She is recovering well and doctors are saying she doesn't need any further treatment.
