Aloha friends, I've come to Go Fund Me before with prayer and made humbled from reading about other people's hardships, struggles and life challenges. But never did I think, I'd be here today telling My Story.
It was April 18, 2018 when I "accidentally" found a lump in my breast. Only later, come to realize that God revealed it to me early so that it could be taken cared of. And He would use it for His purposes. I get it, you might be reading this and thinking I'm "off the wall" with my thinking. But the truth is, when you're faced with the ugly word "cancer", one really does run to God for help deep down in their heart.
Memories come rushing in when I think of my sweet angelic mom, Miriam. She was diagnosed with the "c" word and went to heaven in 2002. Suddenly, I have a new journey and a new season of growth. In becoming stronger spiritually, physically and emotionally. To be smarter and to Kick this "C" thing to the Curb! I've been doing my due diligence and seeing different doctors for alternatives available in this day of new technologies. I'm grateful that there are less invasive ways to be victorious in this. The treatment I chose is at Loma Linda Medical Center in California. Gratefully, I have my family, church family, Operation Christmas Child/Samaritans Purse family and dear sweet friends that have been carrying me through this bumpy road with prayers, support and unconditional love. Jeremiah 29:11 comforts and reminds me everyday....."For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me."
