A Story of Hope, Resilience, and Dreams

My name is Gift Ntumba, and my journey began in one of the most difficult places in the world—a refugee camp. I was one of the lucky ones who made it out. But my heart remains with those I left behind, especially the young boys and girls in Dzaleka Refugee Camp in Malawi who dream of a better life but face unimaginable hardships.

For many of these children, life in the camp is filled with uncertainty, hardship, and few opportunities. They have lost homes, families, and a sense of belonging. Yet, amidst the struggle, one thing unites them: football. The game isn’t just a sport; it’s their escape, their passion, and their hope.

That’s why I founded the Young Talent Community Football Academy—a program designed to give these children a chance to play, learn, and dream beyond the walls of the refugee camp. But we can’t do it alone.

Why We Need Your Help

Right now, these young players train in bare feet, using makeshift balls on rough fields. They lack basic equipment, proper coaching, and the opportunities that other children around the world take for granted. We want to change that.

✅ Keep them away from crime, drugs, and exploitation, offering a positive path through sports.

Football kits, boots, and balls so that every player has proper gear.

Goalposts, nets, and training equipment for safe and structured training.

First aid kits and safety gear to protect the players.

Venue rental and transportation for matches and competitions.

Coaching staff and youth programs to teach not just football, but discipline and teamwork.
