So this beautiful soul, Erica Blouin, who I’m able to call my best friend went through some earth shattering news last fall/early winter. After having almost complete kidney failure that almost killed her, she then found out she has advanced stage 4B cervical cancer. She began chemo in late January and finishes her last treatment next month in May. She will then continue to get care for at least the next 2 years following chemo as she continues to try and beat this illness. Struggling with the after effects of chemo and pain of her cancer, she has been unable to make it to work more often than she would like because just getting out of bed physically hurts for her. While fighting for her life, she is still trying to remain a good employee, friend, confidant, daughter, cousin, granddaughter, and wife which just shows you how much she cares about others, even when she is sick. This by far has been the biggest and hardest challenge she’s ever faced in her life, but she’s not giving up and she’s still fighting everyday, despite how hard it is!!! Erica is a free spirit who enjoys traveling, reading, art, history, animals, hiking, nature, and being with friends and family. She is also a veteran of the United States Navy and served our country proudly for 4 years!! She gives herself so freely to help others, let’s do the same for her!! She is one of a kind and we need her around for a long time more! Let’s rally around and help E fight back too!! Any donation no matter how big or small helps carry her burden just a little with her extra medical expenses and day to day life. Anything to help her out at all would really mean the world to me, and I know for her as well. We can beat our biggest battles with the best support standing behind us!!!
