Kicking Cancer's Butt, Supa Style!

As many of you are aware, our sweet Jess has been going through some pretty serious health issues over the past few weeks. After several hospitals visits, surgery and biopsies, we now have a pretty good grasp on what is going on with Jess' health and would like to use this website to keep everyone updated.
On October 11th she had to have a bowel resection due to a blockage in her colon. Biopsies confirmed that the tumor in her colon was malignant and the surgeon found that the cancer had spread. Due to the cancer spreading, this categorizes Jess' condition as Stage 4 Colon Cancer. She will have more scans and oncology appointments in the coming weeks and will begin chemotherapy early November.
Jess was released from the hospital 10/16 and is now home recovering from surgery. So far, her recovery has been remarkable! She is looking and feeling great and is ready to KICK CANCER'S BUTT, SUPA STYLE!!! If anyone can beat this nasty disease, it is our sweet, strong, positive and determined Jess! She's the strongest girl I know and she can do anything she puts her mind to.
Jess and Mike will be traveling out of state for a second opinion and possibly future treatments. Jess will also be out of work for quite some time. If you would like to make a monetary donation to help with the mounting travel and medical expenses it would be greatly appreciated.
