Kickin' it for KRISSY

Krissy Schatzel, a 36-year-old from Dupont, PA, was just diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer (Adenocarcinoma). Krissy was recently engaged to Bill, the love of her life, and planning her wedding when diagnosed. A few years ago, Krissy lost her mother to cancer and her father is retired and proudly served our country in Vietnam.
Krissy's treatment will require costly chemotherapy drugs and possibly additional surgeries. Krissy has health insurance but many of the chemo drugs will not be covered. Her treatments are beginning immediately. All donations received will be used to assist her family with her medical expenses.
Krissy is a gentle and sweet person who never said no to any organization or person who needed help. She gives freely of her time and talents to assist several non-profit organizations in her community.
A committee has been formed to assist Krissy and her family with this life altering event. A fundraising event will be held Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at the Dupont Little League Field on Elm St.
