<div>There are moments in life when you realize you're meant to build something with your own hands.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For me, that something is 1983 Hatters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Scott, and I'm from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I've always admired the timeless style and craftsmanship of a well-made hat. A great hat isn't just something you wear—it tells a story. It reflects personality, confidence, tradition, and pride.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The more I learned about hat making, the more I fell in love with the craft. What began as curiosity became countless hours of learning, practicing, making mistakes, and trying again. Every hat I complete teaches me something new and reminds me why I started.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, I'm proud to say that 1983 Hatters is no longer just a dream. I've already handcrafted hats, shared them with people, and started receiving orders from customers who believe in what I'm creating.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That support has meant everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But like so many small businesses, I've reached a point where passion alone isn't enough.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The specialized equipment and quality materials needed to make premium hats are expensive. Right now, every order depends on waiting for supplies to arrive, making it difficult to provide the quick turnaround my customers deserve. I don't want to cut corners or settle for lower-quality materials. My goal has always been to build hats that people are proud to wear for years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That's why I'm asking for your help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Not because I'm looking for someone else to build this business for me, but because I believe that great things are often built by communities that believe in a dream.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation will help purchase the tools and materials needed to grow 1983 Hatters, including professional hat blocks, steam equipment, premium felt, leather sweatbands, ribbons, finishing tools, and inventory that allows me to create hats more efficiently without sacrificing quality.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every dollar invested goes directly into building this business.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>More importantly, you're helping keep a traditional craft alive.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In a world filled with fast fashion and mass-produced products, I want to create something different—something made slowly, carefully, and by hand. I want every person who puts on a 1983 Hatters hat to know it wasn't made on an assembly line. It was made by someone who genuinely cares about the craft.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This isn't about becoming a huge company overnight.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It's about building something honest.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It's about proving that handcrafted work still has a place in today's world.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It's about showing that a small business from Saskatchewan can create products that people are proud to own.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Whether your donation is $10 or $1,000, you become part of this story. Years from now, when someone asks how 1983 Hatters got its start, I'll be able to say it was built with hard work, determination, and the generosity of people who believed in the dream before it became a reality.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you're unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your friends and family would mean just as much. Every share helps us reach someone who values craftsmanship and wants to support a local maker.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for believing in handmade craftsmanship.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for believing in me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I can't wait to show you what we build together.
