In August 2016, I was rushed to the emergency room for stomach pain. After a few tests and scans, I was admitted for speculation of Tuberculosis. However, after taking samples of nodes in my neck and abdomen, I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphona, stage 4.
I went thru 6 months of chemo and radiation, and in February 2017, after a PET scan, I rang the bell to excitedly declare that I was cancer free.
After a follow up in October 2017, New nodes were found and I was referred to Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami, Florida. The doctor has already set a plan for treatment, but now I need financial assistance . My family has been very supportive thus far, however, the treatment is very expensive, also causing me to have a high copay.
I set up this platform to appeal for assistance from the public to help me 'kick lymphomas butt".
As a 16 year old, aspiring artist, I've realized that this journey cannot be completed without help, help from my family, help from my friends, help from my community, and help from you!
