My Last Item on College Bucket List

Ciao! (Hello!) My name is Shannon Clash and I am a matriculating senior at the University of Maryland – College Park pursing a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism. I’m particularly interest in pursuing a career in which I can produce broadcast television news. This coming summer, I have the privilege of going to Florence, Italy from June 12 - July 13 to study and intern in the field of multimedia reporting through the fusion of hip hop culture.

While there I am looking forward to working with the Institute of Education in International Media (ieiMedia) and journalism professionals to gain skills of becoming  an international reporting.  Only issues I foresee would be a language barrier (which I have started Rosetta Stone: Italian) and finances to travel. 


I would greatly appreciate your help in eliminating this barrier to follow my dreams. Any amount or pray will help! Thank you for assistance in my future.
