Kian & Kiera ‘s fundraising for BC Wildfire

Hi,

My name is Kian. I am 9 years old and I am raising money with my sister Kiera, who is 8 years old. We want to help people and communities that are affected by the wildfire in British Columbia.

We just came back from Kamloops and had witnessed and experienced the great affects by the previous and current wildfires. We want to do something to help!

You know how kids LOVE sugar and we are kids! But we will be fasting sugar and run 2 laps everyday for 14 days (August 23- September 6th, 2021) to raise awareness and money that will go directly to the Canadian Red Cross British Columbia Fires Appeal fund.

The Government of BC is matching donations to the Canadian Red Cross until December 31. The money you donate today will straight goes to the Red Cross British Columbia Fires Appeal fund.

This means every $1 donated will become $2 to support those affected by wildfires. Our goal is to raise $250, which means they will match another $250!
