Volunteers building foundations for kitchen last year.
www.vesabroad.com We are fundraising for supplies for the new creche we built in Khula village! Since 2015 volunteers have been helping to build this compound of 15 bedrooms, new toilet/shower blocks, kitchen and dining area.. now the time is here to start filling it up! Each bedroom costs 6000 ZAR (600 AUD/CAD) for 3 bunk beds, mattresses, curtins, flooring, rugs, bedding and secure windows. That's $100 per child to live in the room and off the streets. So far we have had 1 bedroom fully outfitted thanks to the lovely donation from the Gavin family and H.M. MacDonald Elementary School from Nova Scotia Canada, but we need $5000 to do the rest, plus the kitchen outfittings. Please donate and help spread this page, as we are hoping to have the entire building handed over to the Anduna (Prince of the community) before we depart South Africa for the season in August 2017. Every little bit helps!
