Killingly High School Music Dept.

I am currently a Senior studying Trumpet Performance at the University of Texas at Austin. I graduated from Killingly High School in 2011 and am grateful for all the opportunities that I had during my years there. I auditioned for every music festival I could including the New England Music Festival, All State Festival, and All Eastern Music Festival. I was fortunate to be part of a music department that had the luxury to financially support its students to audition and attend great festivals. These experiences at Killingly High School, both musical and non-musical, enhanced my music making and helped me gain acceptance and now success at one of the top universities in the country.
Recently with the economy, students are not able to afford to attend these festivals even if they are accepted. To support the talented and deserving students of the Killingly High School Music Department, a benefit concert will be held on Friday, December 19th 2014 in the KHS auditorium. This will be the third annual benefit concert and I hope this year will be even more successful than last year. I am asking you for financial help through sponsorships.
Your support will help send deserving Killingly High School students to music festivals. All contributions raised as a result of this event will go to support students that cannot otherwise afford the price to participate. Therefore, your money will create a once in lifetime experience for several students! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you for your time and support.
