Destoni & Khristian need our help!!!
The surviving daughters of Ileana Frias-Peyron and Christine Rumpf, who were both tragically killed on June 8, near Midland, Texas, are presently being treated for their extensive injuries at a local hospital and trauma center in Odessa Texas.
Both girls were ejected from the vehicle and sustained extensive injuries.
Destoni, 19, who remains in critical condition with a traumatic brain injury, broken ribs, neck and wrists and other fractures and injuries continues to require extensive medical care and faces a very long recovery.
Khristian, 24, who also sustained serious injuries, is expected to be discharged from the hospital in the near future and will begin her physical rehabilitation on an out-patient basis.
Unfortunately, Khristian cannot immediately return home to Miami, in large part, due to Destoni's extensive medical needs.
Moreover, as her sister’s next-of-kin, Khristian is obligated to remain in Texas until Destoni's health condition improves.
Currently, Khristian is unable to provide for herself during her time in Odessa and because many are concerned about the girl's physical and mental health and well-being
family and friends are organizing arrangements and hoping to raise donations to cover their expenses during this difficult time.
Please continue to pray for both Destoni and Khristian and help support them by:
1) making a financial donation on this site;
2) offering names of contacts who can donate commercial air travel or similar services; and
3) volunteering to travel to Odessa, Texas as a caregiver to stay with and provide support to our girls, where appropriate. This means bathing them if necessary.
