Hi y’all,

My name is Bri Steilberg, and I’m the owner and director of Kinder Haus Montessori at 252 Magnolia Street in Mandeville Louisiana. Kinder Haus Montessori sustained three feet of flood waters, wind damage, and downed trees. After the pandemic hit, dealing with the aftermath of a category 4 hurricane has been overwhelming. Our goal is to get our school fully operational as soon as possible. Our staff has been coming to clean, demo, and remove debris around the clock. I will not be charging any tuition for our parents as well as trying to pay my staff their regular wages. Our first request is that any able body nearby come join us as we rebuild. However many of you are unable and have reached out about donating monetarily. All of the funds will go directly to paying our staff and ordering new Montessori materials. All three of our classrooms sustained damage to some extent. Between shelves, tables, chairs, and materials we are facing a hurdle. All help is so dearly appreciated from all of us at Kinder Haus Montessori.
