On Sunday, March 25th 2018, Carolina, Mike and big sister Noa welcomed baby Julian to the world. Carolina's actual due date was April 1st, however Julian had other plans and decided to make an early debut!
Prior to becoming pregnant, Carolina prepared by taking out an Aflac short term disability policy to help cover expenses so she could enjoy her maternity leave with less stress. Today, Carolina was informed by Aflac that since she went into early labor, her maternity leave would not be covered since her policy was not in effect for the full 10 months. (She fell short of the coverage by 7 days.)
We are reaching out to friends and family to help cover expenses and medical bills during this joyous time for their family. Any donation regardless of amount would be greatly appreciated. (Carolina and her family are unaware of this effort. We would like to surprise them like Julian did!)
