Khapre's Fight Against Lymphoma

January 14, 2018 my daughter Khapre Braxton a very vibrant 20 year old complained of having continuous cough,chest pains,and body aches which this time of year is typical flu like symptoms.  After a week of over the counter cough medicines she was taken to the hospital for antibiotic. She was given X-ray due to chest pains. She was then admitted and Pulmonologist scheduled her for CT-Scan next morning. Results of CT-scan showed a mass in her chest. January 19, 2018 Khapre had a biopsy performed and was discharged.

After having PET-Scan and much testing and tortuous waiting Khapre was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma (form of cancer). She will be receiving chemotherapy treatment but is in need of an additional procedure prior to beginning treatment. However this procedure is not covered by her insurance. This wasn't easy. While i exhausted all my financial means I had to put my pride aside and take a leap of faith to build up the courage to go public and ask for help for the sake of my daughter's health.

As much as my pride wants me to keep this to myself and just deal with it, I have ask God to soften my heart and let me allow people to help

Whether it's prayer,reaching out,or helping offset cost associated with this procedure, we are thankful for any and all of the support we will receive. The only reason our hearts are where they are is because of the growing support we have. Our goal is to offset out of pocket cost as we continue this journey to fight this disease.
